Highlights through the years....
The year of 1960 was a significant one for many reasons. The
historical first televised presidential debates between
Richard M. Nixon and John F. Kennedy took place. The
Civil Rights Act was passed. The Winter Olympics was
held in Squaw Valley, California while the Summer Olympics
was in Rome, whose citizens founded the original games.
In the
whirlwind of change, both political and social that year, the
Electrical League of Arizona began its roots, but oh
how times
have changed for the League!
