Consumer Council Benefits

All council members meet the following requirements:

• Signed Pledge of Performance
• Applicable Registrar of Contractors license
• Proscribed Continuing education courses
• Current surety bond
• Current public liability insurance certificate
• Workman’s compensation insurance certificate
• Current Arizona retail sales tax privilege license,
  if applicable
• No unresolved complaints with the Registrar
  of Contractors
• No unresolved complaints with the Better Business Bureau

The Electric League of Arizona councils are the exclusive referral source for home improvement and repair for APS and SRP.

All consumers, using service companies referred by Electric League of Arizona councils receive a satisfaction survey, which includes arbitration for any unresolved complaints.
